Before design began, I spent time understanding FRP’s audience, programs, and goals—reviewing existing materials, mapping key user needs, and identifying where people needed clarity, reassurance, and next steps. This research directly informed the site’s structure, language, and overall experience.
The design process focused on translating research into a clear, approachable layout that prioritized ease of use and emotional clarity. Visual decisions were intentionally restrained, allowing content, messaging, and calls to action to guide users without distraction.
Development focused on building a reliable, easy-to-manage site that performs well across devices. The site was implemented with accessibility, performance, and long-term maintainability in mind, allowing the team at the Friends Rehabilitation Program to manage and update content over time confidently.
The concept for the site centered on creating a calm, trustworthy experience that reduces friction and helps users quickly understand FRP’s services and next steps. Early concepts focused on clarity, tone, and structure rather than visual complexity.
